National Hindi Day, popularly known as Hindi Diwas, on 14 September
Hindi Diwas also known as National Hindi Day is celebrated in India on 14 September every year. It marks the historic day in 1949 when the Constituent Assembly of India adopted Hindi in the Devanagari script as one of the official languages of the Union.
