Indian States stamps refer to the postal issues of the native or princely states during the British Raj, divided into Convention States (which overprinted British India stamps for use across India) and Feudatory States (which printed local designs valid only within their borders)

Transitional Post-Independence Union States
Prior to full integration into the Republic of India, interim unions issued stamps:
- Travancore-Cochin (1949–1951)
- United State of Saurashtra (1949–1950)
