The Historic and Iconic St Thomas Mar Thoma Syrian Church, Pattoor becomes the first church in the capital city of Kerala, This church has stood the test of time. It is the very embodiment of everything that our Sabha encountered during the early turn of last century, the travails and hardships caused by situations during the Travancore era. The church stood tall in all its grace outliving all these and more, since the past 70 and odd years.

Recognizable easily as one of the more pristine landmarks of Trivandrum, it has never failed to earn a second look as it stood majestically perched on the little hillock in Pattoor, familiar in its name and form to almost all residents of Trivandrum.
