225 Glorious Years 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment
The Department of Posts today released Commemorative Postage Stamp on 225 Glorious Years 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment (Special Forces). The Battalion has won 25 Battle Honours and 5 Theatre Honours, making it one of the most decorated Battalion in the Indian Army today. The Commemorative Postage Stamp was released by chief guest Lt. Gen Vijay Kumar Mishra, PVSM, AVSM, Comdt IMA at Dehradun. Maj Gen MK Khan, VSM ADG APS handed over the VIP album to the Chief Guest for release.
