A Special cover was issued by India on 20 Oct 2009 on Centenary of Kadalur Point Lighthouse (1909-2009). The special cover was issued at Kadalur. The Lighthouse was started in 1907. The circular stone masonry tower has a height of 34 metres. It is located near Koyilandy in Kozhikode district on the coast of Arabian Sea.
