New Special cover on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel released at Birla House
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde unveiled a special postal cover on 31-10-2022, behalf of the Indian Postal Department on the occasion of the 147th birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Chief Minister said great personalities like Mahatma Gandhi and hero Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel lived in Birla House. It is a matter of pride to unveil a postal envelope dedicated to the work of Iron Man Sardar Patel in this historic building today. Remembering the work of Iron Man who gave the message of integrity and unity, the Chief Minister said he would try to carry forward the legacy of his thoughts and said various projects are being implemented for the development of people of all sections of the state. The government is working with the cooperation of the people, and the people will see developmental changes in the future.
Post Master General Swati Pandey said on the occasion of National Unity Day, two thousand copies of a special wallet dedicated to the work of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel have been printed. Earlier, postal stamp of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel has been released by Indian Postal Department.
MP Shrikant Shinde, Darhysheel Mane, Post Master General Swati Pandey of Indian Postal Department, Assistant Director Smita Rane, Yash Birla of Birla Group, Avanti Birla along with Birla family, officials of Indian Postal Department were present in this event.
