The cancellation depicts the Shrine of St. Joseph’s Church.
Pavaratty is situated in the coastal area of Chavakkad Taluk in Thrissur District. It is the site of St. Joseph’s Church and also lies near Palayur (4 km), famous for the Palayur Church. This church was built in 1876. The Portuguese styled main altar and the non pillared 12500 sq feet portion around the altar are remarkable architectural feature of the shrine. The annual festival celebration on the third Sunday after Easter is famous.
