Special cover Holy Trinity English Church – Palakkad

The Holy Trinity English Church is one of the historical monuments in Palakkad. It was established in 1855 by the English when they were in power in India. The church is of English style and architecture. During the English period this church was administered by the Ecclesiastical Department of the Government and was under the direct control of the British Royal Family. After Independence the church became part of the Church of South India and is now managed by the Cochin Diocese. The church is located in the heart of the town. It stands as a blessing to the Palakkad City.

The Special cover issued on the occasion of Palmpex 2018 philatelic exhibition carries a grey tone image of the church building and the colour image of the church logo. The special pictorial cancellation is a line graphic sketch of the logo of the church.
