Charpa waterfall located in Athirappally panchayath in Thrissur district of Kerala. Located on the west-flowing Chalakudy River, this waterfall lies in between the more famous Athirappally Falls and Vazhachal Falls. It is a popular stopover for tourists who are visiting the Athirappally and Vazhachal Falls. It is located close to the road, and during monsoon months (June to August), the water splashes onto the road. During the dry season, the water stops flowing.

 The Charpa falls is present at a distance of nearly 60 kms from Thrissur and looks magnificent in the monsoon. The damp clouds when hover above the waterfalls, the surroundings become exceptionally beautiful and enchanting.

Monsoon hits Kerala twice, the first period starts from June to August and the second from October to December. The flow of water increases to a great extent and its water moves to the roads during the raining period.
