World Milk Day Special Cover by India post
A Special Cover was released to mark World Milk Day 2017 on 1st June 2017 at Davanagere. (Special Cover approval no. KTK/51/2017).

The union is committed to provide maximum possible price for the milk producers and is also committed to provide quality milk and milk products to consumers.
World Milk Day was first established to be celebrated every year on world level on 1st of June by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. It was selected on 1st of June as the national milk day was already being celebrated by many countries during this time.
