A brief history of RHB Bank :
1913 – incorporation of Kwong Yik ( Selangor ) Banking Corporation
1997 – merged with DCB Bank to form RHB Bank Bhd
1999 – merged with Sime Bank Berhad to form RHB Banking Group
2003 – merged with Bank Utama

60sen · Old Market Square, KL – Our First Branch
Kwong Yik (Selangor) Banking Corporation Limited was incorporated on 15th July 1913, with its first branch located at the Old Market Square. It moved to the junction of Jalan Bandar and Jalan Silang where it remain until 1938.

60sen · Launch of Kwong Yik Bank HQ
In 1965, the landmark multi-storey HQ at Jalan Bandar ( now Jalan Tun H.S.Lee ) was officiated by the then PM, Tunku Abdul Rahman on the 10th September. It opened branches in Jalan Ipoh and Jalan Bukit Bintang the same year.

60sen · Our First ATM
In 1985, Kwong Yik Bank introduces its ATM service called ‘BOSS’ simultaneously at 12 of its branches in KL, PJ and Klang.
