Special covers on Dev Deepawali, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham and Ganga Aarti
On the first Dev Deepawali after inauguration of the rejuvenated Kashi Vishwanath Dham, the department of Posts has released three special covers and cancellations on Dev Deepawali, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham and Ganga Aarti.
The special covers were released by the chief postmaster general of Uttar Pradesh Circle, Kaushlendra Kumar Sinha along with the postmaster general, Krishna Kumar Yadav at a programme organised at the Varanasi head post office on Monday 07th November-2022.
Sinha said that release of special covers and special cancellations on these attractions of the city is a moment of pride for all the residents of Kashi.
Yadav said in the released special cover contain attractive images of Dev Deepawali, Ganga aarti and Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham with information about them on the back in Hindi as well as English. Tese special covers can be obtained from the Varanasi head post office at Visheshwarganj.
The programme was attended by senior superintendent of post offices Rajan, superintendent of post offices, PC Tiwari, and several other senior officials of the postal department.
