Permanent Pictorial Cancellations of Kerala-Sabarimala
Sabarimala is a hill temple of Lord Ayyappa, where devotees in thousands from all parts of the country are on pilgrimage during the festival season from the middle of November to the middle of January. The cancellation depicts the holy steps, eighteen in number leading to the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. The post office functions only during the season.
